MKIII Minis were still fitted with rear wheel arch covers however the grain of material was the rougher 1290 grain usually and can be found under part number WAC3025. Some early Minis do not require wheel arch covers as the rear seat

My Aussie loves it and he is a tough chewer as well, so it goes great with his hyper reactive personality. Durability could have been a little better, sometimes I have to take it apart and make sure it’s still in a good position because my dog will pick it up and drop it. With no cushion it did start malfunctioning at about 2 weeks. However, it does still work fine and he loves it even without the movement. Note if you put it in a sock to protect it, my dog goes dangerous and held the sock and created a slingshot lol.
