100-count large oval paper plates (12"x10") - soak-proof, microwave safe, cut-resistant, disposable
Size: 12 in-100 count, Size: 12 in-100 count
These 12" X 10" disposable paper plates (brand: OuMuaMua) are great to add to our inventory of party tableware supplies. We have stocked up smaller plates but just not these larger ones. The size is perfect to make up for what we have not purchased but need. They are fantastic for being soak-proof and microwave-safe.
I used one today to marinate some pork chops for 2+ hours just to see how well it performed for soak-proofness. The saucy marinade was well contained and didn't soak through the plate. The coating is waterproof as well because after marinating, I used the same plate to hold some tap water. Not a drip came or seeped through.
Though I would consider it quite stiff, it is still made of paper and won't compare well with those disposable hard plastic plates. As such, I will limit my use of these for lightweight items such as donuts, break, muffins, cupcakes, a few pork chops or steaks, etc. For heavier and bountiful party goodies, like a big bunch of BBQ wings, hot dogs, etc., I will back it up with a tray when carrying it to the table. Once properly seated down, this oval paper plate can be trusted to serve on its own.
A size comparison is included showing the oval plate and a smaller one from a known brand I bought for everyday use. They are similar not just in their color schemes , the quality is also very similar, e.g. the level of stiffness, being soak-proof and cut-resistant. I am very pleased with this product's quality and functionality. They are absolutely convenient when we host parties or when we prefer not to deal with dishes clean-up.
These are definitely valuable time-savers for the price.
