We decided to get this for a toddler pillow for our son. I'm a little intense about what kinds of materials he is exposed to and I feel comfortable with latex. The pillow cover is synthetic and I'm not sure how I feel about that, but it is removable. It seems really comfortable for him--supportive but soft. He loves sleeping on it.
